Hi all! Trying to come up with a lower points level daemon army that, while competitive, is balanced and is most definitely not a Flying Circus (it bores me).
So have a look and please lay the C&C on me.
I mostly want to get your opinions on what my strengths and weaknesses are VS:
A.) Tau
B.) Eldar
C.) A Flying Circus (i.e. would a flying circus perform better against those mentioned above?)
Thanks in advance.
HQ
Fateweaver: 300
Herald of Tzeench: 175
ML3, Disk, Locus of Conjuration, Exalted (Grimoire)
Herald of Tzeench: 150
ML3, Disk, Exalted (Portalglyph)
Herald of Khorne: 130
Juggernaut, Locus of Fury, Lesser (Axe of Khorne)
Troops:
11x Pink Horrors: 99
11x Pink Horrors: 99
16x Daemonettes: 144
Fast Attack:
7x Screamers: 175
14x Flesh Hounds: 224
Game Plan: Provide early game pressure with the Hounds and Kherald. Will most likely put the Grimoire on them turn 1 for 3++ and forcing hard decisions for opponent. Hopefully they will multi charge and tarpit high damage output shooty stuff, or else just eat something's face off. Fatey and mini-ScreamerStar throw out buffs and provide decent ranged threat. Daemonettes deploy on board and march up field to provide follow up assault behind hounds. Deep strike horrors out of harm's way and hope the 'glyph can poop some more. Thoughts?
