Hey, welcome to Orkdom. Let me offer some tips based on my experience.
IMO, this list is a bit light on troops. Ork boys are great infantry for their cost so having a whole lot of them is one of the codex's biggest strengths. The age-old mantra is Boys Before Toys!
A few things you could take out to save on points:
-The rokkit launchas on the battlewagon aren't going to do you much good for how many points they cost. I usually just put one or two big shootas on it to keep weapon destroyed results from immobilising it.
-The trukk for that squad of shoota boys feels out of place. The advantage of trukks is how quickly they get your boys into the enemy's face, but without any support from other trukk squads they'll get taken apart real quick. Generally the idea is to either put all the boys in trukks, or none of them. Lose the trukk and make that squad bigger, and give them a nob.
-The warboss is an excellent
HQ choice. But at 1000 points I feel like a big mek with a kustom force field is a better one. 5++ for all the troops around the battlewagon is a huge boon, it's saved my army on several occasions. And you can give him a burna too, so he's coordinated with his bodyguards
-Looted wagons with boomguns can be spectacular, but they are unreliable at best. I can almost guarantee you'll find the same amount of points put into more boys and burnas will give you better returns. The lobbas and lootas can fill that artillery role just fine.
And that's my two cents.
TL;DR, get some more boys and burnas.
Best of luck with your Waaghing
