Hey guys, not sure if this counts as duplicate, this is a different question to my last one... Kinda.
If any mods don't like it, the other thread is about a day's worth of posts down.
Ok so, I am in the planning/ saving up for the beginning of a space marine chapter, called the hounds of loken, and they are founded by some istvaan survivors of the Luna wolves ( probably about twenty) now, this means that they have horus' geneseed, and that is a very bad thing. The chaos gods have cursed them, with an adaptation ofthe flesh-change , meaning some space marines devolved into chaos spawn. Now, to avoid the risk of this secret becoming discovered, any brother who shows signs of the flaw is detained for how ever long, and if they mutate, they are locked in stasis cages and hidden deep inside the fortress of the hounds of loken (which In turn is inside a planet( a planet where everyone lives in caverns underground)) ok, wow, that's um... A lot of typing so on with the question, I want to build (primarily from scratch) some chaos spawn, and was looking for sole ideas, not of materials, but of design. If you understand?

Sounds like an awesome storyline man did you come up with that?
Maybe squids and animals? sorry ill try come up with more soon im literally just leaving work,

Something like a mole or nightcrawler, maybe a bat-like thing to go with the subterranean theme?

Kitbashing the vampier blodghasts with some chaos spawn by way of green stuff?

so, i have three ideas so far.
1. mouth beast: carnifex mouth (not hole head) coming out of torso, hive guard arms with green stuff tenticles.
2. the spine: pretty much a normal chaos spawn with green stuff spines all over the body.
3. chitin: one with a fair bit of chiting on it, and a space marine helmet (split at the neck) in the upper torso, like the flesh has grown around it.

@ swarm: yeah i came up with the idea, glad you like it, because i want to run them as CSM but am one of those people who dont like playing as "evil". all ideas are appreciated.

1. yeah i thaught about it, but it would be a bit expensive and would look a bit off, a little bit too home-y, plus, i was thinking of having bikers doing something similar.
also, great signature, i bet it has saved a lot of rage.

How to scratch build a Chaos Spawn:

1: Buy a Koosh Ball.
2: Attach googly eyes to it.
3: ????
4: Profit.
