Hey folks,
This might belong in the tactics section, but I know I'll be facing plenty of Tau/Eldar in Vegas. I was just wanting to read up on the rules for the more standard load-outs of the suits if you gentlemen (and ladies) would be so kind as to list them. Point costs not necessary.
Many thanks

Riptides generally take Ion Accelerator and EWO, sometimes with stims. Though the HBC with skyfire and interceptor is also seen particularly if someone is running 3 or more Riptides. O'Vesa is also popular to create a deathstar with an IC Riptide.

Broadsides only have 1 competitive build and that is HYMP, SMS and EWO. Normally taken with maximum missile drones if points allow. A unit of 3 pumps out 36 shots 24 of which are So and 24 are twin linked.

Crisis teams tend to take 2 of the same weapon be that missile pod, plasma rifles or fusion. It depends on their function. This makes them super efficient at their chosen role. They are often seen as part of a Far sight bomb where everyone can target a different unit they all are twin linked and ignore cover and they move 24" a turn and can come with a 2+ cover save...

Other notable builds are the buffmander. A crisis commander with no weapons who makes a unit he joins twin linked and ignore cover and get tank/monster hunter. Or the Mark'O commander a commander that has 2 missile pods he can fire at a target whilst he gives his Bs5 to some marker drones to give mobile marker lights that near always hit. The last is a variation on above known as the drone commander with duel Burstcannons so he pumps out 8 S5 Bs5 shots and 14 Gun Drones who then pump out 28 S5 Bs10 shots a great little volume fire unit.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com
