Subject: iPad version of 40K rule book.

Is it updated with the FAQ? Does this mean I don't have to bother with the FAQ, or do I still need the 40K rulebook FAQ?
I also have the Necron codex. Is it updated with the Necron FAQ?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

As far as I know, I think it does get updated. I swear my SM Codex was updated. I thought when I first bought my SM codex, assault marines could use Storm Shields, but then after the update. It changed to Combat Shields.

Thank you Johnnytorrance. I am trying to relearn the rules so I bought the iPad version to help me. Nice to know I don't have to bother with the FAQ.
Before I tried to learn then confused myself because the FAQ would change it then, then I can't remember what the heck I am learning.

You're gonna love the part where you don't have to thumb through so many pages to find something. Buy the interactive version and not the eBook version. eBook version is like a PDF file. The interactive one has an Army builder at the back, only you can't print out your list, you can click on special rules and get the definition. So not much of a need to go back and forth. I'll can't wait for the ork codex version.

I love clicking or touching the special rule to get a definition from it. So worth the extra $10.
Just wished the ArmyBuilder was better and be able to print it out.

It auto updates, but it doesn't hurt to check the FAQ because it addresses codex rules and various other things.
