After a 15 year break I've started getting into wargaming again and happily I still have some boxes of misc miniatures (WFB/Epic/Necromunda) but I've lost all my White Dwarf magazines. There's one in particular I'm trying to track down, it was published after the 'Battle of Ichar IV' event in 1995, so will be between 184/190.... it has the Opening Day advert for the Wolverhampton Games Workshop store (should be listed on the WD index page at the bottom under label of GW Stores). Wierd request I know, I'd be really grateful if somebody who has these could check (I can then buy the right one on eBay). I've found scans of the US versions but not surprisingly they show different stores

Any help would be much appreciated!

I've got those issues tucked away in a box somewhere, possibly at my brother's so I can certainly have a look. I'm away for work so can't do it immediately, but maybe at the weekend.

That would be great thanks, can't believe I've lost them (I reckon my parents chucked them when I went to uni....). Oh well, at least I've rediscovered what was a fantastic hobby

It still is great, you just have to see past the haters. There are a lot of things people say are wrong with GW but there were back in the 80's/90's too. Either way they are still the doing well and we are still playing them. I came back summer 2012 after a 20 year break and easily fell in love again.

Yep I can remember the GW fan/hater wars even back there With the rise of the internet, forums and even Kickstarter I'd guess GW's competitors are in a better position perhaps, I've found so many awesome foundries this week that I'd never have found about back in the 90s. All good stuff!
