I was thinking of running O'Vesa in a Gravstar using the usual Loth + Far sight trick but trying to maintain majority T6. Here goes:

3 Crisis: 6 Burst cannons, Drone Controller, 6 Gun Drones, bonded 209

Sevrin Loth 175

5 Scouts: Bp + CCW, Vet Sarge, Power Maul, Combi Flamer, LSS, HF 135

3 Centurions: Grav Cannons, Omniscope 260

I have 4 scoring units 3 of which always start in reserve all pretty manoeuvrable and one has pretty brutal firepower (36 S5 shots). Gravstar ignores cover moves 24" a turn fires at 2 targets and is T6. The other option is to switch to marines as main force and put a beat stick CM in the unit due to no overwatch. But that means I need an extra Cent just to get T5 and the star then wracks in at 1362 points on its own!

There are 3 T5 models, 3 T4 models and 3 T6 models in the unit as O'Vesa's drones are T6.

Hahahaha this is next level wack (possibly WAAC ) but I kind of like it. Not sure what Torchstar does but I'm pretty sure I don't wanna face this unit lol.

I mean its light on troops but most deathstar oriented lists are. The suits might be maneuverable, but they're definitely not durable. I'll give them credit for being easy to hide though.

Play test and write a battle report. Proxy if necessary, I just wanna see this lulz fest in action!

Only list you may struggle with are things like venom spam because they care not about your T and thats a lot of armour saves.

I thought it might be as much. I'm pretty familiar with Tau just not all of the 8 in enclaves. Man too bad getting some cheap divination powers from inquisition would lower the majority toughness.

I don't have the Inquisition codex. But I could chuck Coteaz in the unit. Gives the whole unit rerolls to hit though is not guaranteed to ignore cover. He's 47 points cheaper than Torchstar but not convinced that he's actually allowed to join the unit with Tau. I don't want to look to rules abuse I shouldn't need to with this list
