I play the Retribution of Scyrah, a faction in Warmachine/Hordes.

They're this weird magipunk faction of Elves, but they have an interesting sci-fi theme. Although I like the models, I would rather give them something more in line with what most people picture as 'elves,' complete with earthen colors.

I'm looking to buy some bits - ideally capes or hoods- to stick on them to give them a more clandestine appearance. Got any favorites or tips? Especially for bits stores.

£4 for 5
aprox. $6.5
For 5 isn't bad.

However, you may want to look into sculpting them yourself...

I know many people are really intimidated by sculpting... for good reason.
Never hurts to try. You can only get better.

Some good tutorials.

Well... it's a scary thought... but I've got the green stuff and you've given me the tutorials.

What's the worst that could happen?

Thanks a lot.

Do post results!

Patience is key with green stuff...

In my limited experience (I have sculpted three capes before). I find that letting it sit for a while first, to let it partially set. Makes it more moldable and doesn't leave fingerprints on the capes when you are positioning them.

Of course it says all this in the tutorials. But it is a very important point that is worth hearing twice.
