Oldblood, halberd, wizard hat, carnosaur and armour if you can take it. Take it and you can eat all the wizards who called you dumb.

Yep and you are now cannon bait with a decent armour save yet no ward save.
Add to this the fact that the wizarding hat is a terrible item.
The wizards still think you're dumb.

IMHO, best build with no points limits or worries about stuff like that in a list

Oldblood
-Armour of Destiny
-Shield
-Sword of Striking
-Dawnstone

=less than 260-270 points i think.

This guy has a 1+ re-rollable armour save, 4+ward and hits most heros on 2's at worst 3's and lords on 3' at worst 4's.

this guy IMHO is rock hard.

All anyone wants in the world is to be accepted. Except me, i don't give a S%@t.

^infinitely better build.

Could possibly drop the armour and add Talis of Preservation, Dragonhelm. Same points from memory, drops the armour save to 2+ but adds the ward vs flaming. Situational but adds some utility, particularly if you know your opponent.

Awesome, I put that guy together recently. I was concerned my choices were poor, as I've never really built a Lord before!

talisman of preservation is same item type as dawnstone so only way to get 4+ ward and rerollable armour is with the armour of destiny.

Correct. Thought Dawnstome was an enchanted item for some reason.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

wouldn't need a shield in that case.

Yeah but I quite like running him solo. Sort of the Lizard man equivalent of the Lordpedo or the unkillable Tzeentch guy. You can do mini versions with Scar Vets on cold ones with great weapons too

would need a charmed shield in that case for pinging a cannon ball.

Pft watch this

Oldblood
~Shield
~Armour
~Sword of Striking (+1 to hit)
~Helm of Stegadon
~Preservation (4+ ward Save)

Now you have an Oldblood with impact hits, toughness 6 strength 5 (easily boostable with wildform), usually 2+ to hit (no more than 3+), 4+ ward save, and 1+ armour save.

What challenge did you have again?
