I used a basic mechanical pencil on a model that was sealed in Testors Dullcoat. This gives it a bit darker and shinier finish than Leadbelcher does. I have artist pencils I will experiment with, but I figure everyone has a regular 2B pencil somewhere. It will need to be sealed after this to keep from rubbing off, it will dull the pencil shine too of course.

Nice. If you used a satin varnish rather than matte I guess it would have less effect on the pencil weathing?

I've been meaning to try some pencil weathering.

Flames of war- USSR and UAR
