Things have been going swimmingly in my project to convert an M4A2 Sherman into a Leman Russ Executioner, but I've run into a bit of a snag: the weapon mount on the front hull.

The model I'm using has the same sharp-sloped front as this particular variant which makes finding a method of placement difficult without looking silly.

Any (preferably simple) suggestions for a way to stick a heavy bolter on the front of this thing?

You can cut out a small square in the front and add a plasticard box around it? Kind of like the forge world centaur

Funny thing. That photo is of one or two Shermans in Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. Parked next to them when they were repainting it. I think its the one facing away though XD.

To get back on track. You can try cutting a box out and try putting a extra sponson cylinder mount in. Or make it look how the heavy bolter is attached to the Chimeras. It has a cloth around the main body of the gun.

Why not just use the Chimera heavy bolter, which is designed to fit an angled hull, and mount it over the MG port?
