Santuary 101

Hi everyone,

Just realized there was an introduction area.

I started in fantasy quite a while back but only recently started 40k seriously. One of the reasons was that the army I wished to play is a little hard to collect but with a purchase of a friends army, I finally got started.

I play Sisters and have them mostly painted and am starting a necron army soon. Hope to re-enact the battle of Sanctuary 101 in a diorama but as I mentioned, I'm a so-so painter so it'll probably only look good from afar.

Cheers!

Tabletop quality is quality too! I also paint at tabletop quality and if it looks great from a distance, it is a great paintjob. Most of the times you look down and rarely inspect other players' miniatures up close (most of the time they are wary of letting you touch them) (The miniatures that is) (although maybe them too). Anyway, welcome to Dakka and don't be ashamed to post pictures, there are some very skilled people here whowill give you pointers!

Welcome to Dakka!

I agree with what Low_K said. The people who roam the painting forums are quite nice people. Can't wait to see that diorama though! Never heard of Sanctuary 101.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Battle of Santuary 101 is part of the Sisters story which also came out in the novel. Hammer and Anvil I think. I've almost finished my Sisters and starting to assemble the Necrons so it may still be a while.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
