Hi all,
My local games workshop is holding a friendly kill team tournament next month. I have never played one and this is the list that I came up with based on the rules in the store.

Paladin - Halbrad, Mastercrafter Psycannon (ignore cover?)

Strike x 5 - 3 swords, Hammer, Psycannon (relentless?)

Need one more ability to fit.

There will be 3 different senerios, 1 being a king of the hill type game. Other 2 are not disclosed as of yet.

Any help would be fantastic

Also. Only 1 unit of elites allowed.

You using the right rules? The ones released in December are way different (and better) than the free ones from ages ago

Interesting. 2+ for Kill Team? Huh. In my opinion though, GK are not the best for KT. Lack of bodies means someone with a melta or two could shred you. Just my thoughts.

It's all in the rolls.

Gks all have stormbolters...which are amazing weapons for kill team. My purifier team has yet to lose.

Interesting. The advantages the Purifiers have are diminished in KT. (Cleansing flame, Fearless...).

What do you see in them?

Purifiers in a razorback are pretty nasty. 2A base and get cheaper weapons. Decent mid range and ap3, 3A on the charge. Yummy.

6 bodies in KT seems like a recipe for success. I can drop 20+ models on the board, how do you win?

Grey Knights have always been a small elite army. Just comes down to how you play them and the skill of the player. I rather take 6 great models over 20+ models, but that comes down to what suits your play style. I would even go 5 stealth suits just for the fun of it.

I play 7 purifiers with a psycannon and psilencer...relentless on the psycannon and split fire on the psilencer.

...my 7 models can reliably kill 6-8 of your 20 every turn...and they fight down to the last man as every single one is fearless...they either outrange or at least outshoot most armies at 12-24" and so that's where they stay...and anyone who has an assault army has to get through cleansing flame and a power sword

Halberd on the KoF...no others.

Kill team is about shooting.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Many people will get on me for this...but I run psybolt as well...even though only 5 models benefit.

Haven't looked back since.

Nothing wrong with psy ammo
I see why you run the Halbrad, 2 space points. Im stuck between taking 2 psycannons or 1 and psylinser if I was to run a full Purifier list.

Psilencer is a steal for a free secondary gun in killteam

Yea similar to duct I run a 5 purifier kill team with a psyback to great success

Only issue I seem to have run in to is high model count kill teams (orks mainly)

And Fearless is a great ability if you get into Break range, you auto pass.
