Hello! I just wanted some input on a list I'm thinking about. May take them to a local tournament after some playtesting.

Archon: Blaster, Shadow Field, Ghostplate Armour, Warlord
4x Trueborn: 3 Blasters
Venom: 2 SC, NS

3x Trueborn: 2 SC
Venom: 2 SC, NS

10x Warriors: 1 SC
Raider: Splinter Racks, NS

10x Warriors: 1 SC
Raider: Splinter Racks, NS

2x Ravagers: DL, NS

Razorwing Jetfighter: 4 Shatterfield, 2DL, Splinter Rifle, FF, NS

Aegis Defense Line: Quad Gun

Eldar:

Spiritseer
10x Guardian Defenders: Heavy Weapon Platform w/ EML

10x Dire Avengers: Exarch with Shimmershield
Wave Serpent: Scatter Laser, Holo Fields

1x War Walker: Scatter Laser, Starcannon

The Spiritseer and the guardians will sit the ADL. Spiritseer will conceal the unit and will man the Quad Gun with BS5. I know the EML is expensive but I want to be done with pesky fliers as quick as I can. I can also field the warriors in venom but I like to have a bit more survivability. The Dire Avenger unit will be sitting a mid field objective so that invul might be useful somewhere.

Any thoughts?

Why spend all those points on an archon just to get another blaster? Grab Baron for the +1 for first turn and stick him on the quad gun with the guardians to give you a 2+ twin-linked shooting and 3+ cover saves on the guardians. Not to mention hes pretty good at tying up dangerous units that threaten your backfield. Charge in at str 6 and hit and run out during their turn.

And I would recommend trading the SC warriors in raiders for Blaster Warriors in Venom. SO much more points efficient and Im sure you can pinch a few points elsewhere to get a 3rd squad/venom in there.

The nightshields on ravagers are kinda pointless as they're pretty much table range.

This is terribly, terribly wrong as ravagers only have a 36" range, which is hardly "table-length" and lets not forget nightshields are all about "not getting shot" and having nothing to do with the ravagers own shooting range. Nightshields are the best thing you could put on your ravagers, or DE vehicles in general.

I agree, nightshields keep so many stuff away. There is no way I'm dropping those.

gardeth, the baron is an option I certainly haven't considered. It does sound good and opens up a farseer slot, which is far more useful to a dark eldar list of course. A baron conversion might also be fun to do.

For the blaster warriors, I'm not really a fan of them tbh. I really like the raider warriors even though I know that the msu is far more useful. I also don't have any more blasters so that may be a problem. But I'll see how it goes once I remake the list.

I dropped the archon for baron and the spiritseer for a farseer on jetbike with mantle. I also now have a unit of raider warriors and two units of blaster warriors in venoms. I'm not sure how I like the blaster warriors, I know it makes them so much more flexible but I'll have to playtest them. I also had to drop the splinter cannon trueborn but that's ok since I have one more venom than the other list. I guess I'll see how it goes!

I made extra blasters by modifying the shredders and by cutting up blast pistols and splicing them together with half a splinter rifle. Triples the # of blasters per warrior box.

I made mine by cutting the end off dark Lances as I never use them.

Yeah I still have the shredders and blast pistols around but I'm not sure how many magnetized warriors I have. Shouldn't be a problem I think.
