I have a defiler and a heldrake.

I have heard about magnetzing are these units to large to be transported that magnets are the only solution?

Well some benefits to magnetizing. IMO

Pros - Swapping out parts for points. Transport is a bit easier.

Cons - More parts to store / Transport. If magnetizing is done wrong the model can look wrong.


For transporting yes it is probably the best solution. otherwise you need a big container with lots of padding.

I also have both models, and yes, transporting them is a pain..
My solution is to buy a large aluminium flight case, strip out the upper cantilever parts and build a divider into the bottom.
