Ultramarine Librarian with Freaky Familiar

I am interested in creating a new SM army, but with a Greek Spartan-esque theme. I was going to try and include as many halberds and shields into the list as possible, to represent Spartan equipment. But I am struggling in choosing a list to do it. Which Space Marine Codex or Chapter Tactic would be best used to represent them? So I was perhaps thinking Grey Knights for the halberds and elite warrior sort of thing, but regular SM from Codex: Space Marine could do something similar? Any help? I am mainly just looking to try and get a Spartan theme across, so I will take other units like tanks and flyers alongside them. Any help = much appreciated!

The best bet in terms of looks is the Minotaurs chapter from Forge World, who are basically Space-Spartans. They have a few upgrade kits avaialable, and also a couple of characters, such as:

I did think about the Minotaurs, but it's not just the leader's aesthetic I want, I want it for the whole infantry part of my army and for the wargear and units I choose to take. I've seen the Minotaurs Chapter Traits, and I don't feel that they portray a Spartan-esque theme to me.

In that case, you'll need some extensive converting/GS work to really bring that out. As for rules, I have no idea how to go about it.

First time I've posted an attachment so sorry if it doesn't work. I hought these beauties from ebay. Bloody useless points wise in game though! Automatically Appended Next Post: Aww its the wrong way around... and the poor phone camera quality doesn't do the paintwork justice! Automatically Appended Next Post: You may not be able to see but they all have red cloaks.
