Yes, Vallejo Metallic Medium is what you are looking for. It is essentially metallic "paint" without pigment allowing it to be mixed with other paints. It can also be applied straight for a bright silvery effect. Liquitex also makes a similar product called Iridescent Medium.

Yeah, I'll vouch for Vallejo's metallic medium.
It's a fun thing to have a play with.

Another option would be adding ink to silver paint. It gives a different effect than metallic paint but can be cool.

In addition to the sparkling mediums like Vallejo, you can also purchase real metallic pigments:

I have bought other pigments and suspensions from them for mixing my own paint, and they tend to be very fine and high quality. Never bought metalics though.

Or you could look at custom paint suppliers, youd want metal flakes in whatever size / colour. These get used on custom cars and motorbikes more often than anything else, they add the flakes to laquer or paints. Theres a huge variety of effects and finishes to pick from.
To stick with acrylics, Liquitex, W&N and Daler Rowney all do Irridescent Mediums. Some craft paints do pearlescent mediums, Vallejo do a metallic medium.
And mixing colours into metallics can give you a lot of variety; try all your silvers, golds, coppers, brasses etc mixed with colours and see what you can make.
