I was wondering, is the 'Nid Seeding Pod still useable with the new 'Nid codex?  A buddy and I were looking over the rules and we don't see a problem with using them.

BUT...

I have been known to be wrong from time to time.    So, what is the verdict?  Would you guys have problems with playing against it?

The biggest problem I see is that the way missions are picked has changed from 3rd edition to 4th. The fact is, almost nobody (I know) plays the "battle" missions and those are the only missions the seeding swarm is allowed to Deep Strike.

In all normal missions (which is what 95% of games played are), the seeding swarm rules are essentially useless.

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

Thanks, Yak.

Yeah, that is a vaild point.  We had to dig those out and use them for the games we played.  Thanks for the input.
