should i take a vindicare in my 1000 pts army for a doubles tournament? he is 145 pts so quite expensive but he is deadly if he survives.

Well, he's sure a fear-factor and is very helpful vs many frightening things but he's such a hit-or-miss.

For a tournament i find him too fragile.
There are too many ignore cover weapons and even in a ruin he will only get a 3+ cover save.
With an icarius in a bastion he becomes better as he then had either his gun for antitank duty or the lascanon for snipping out T4 characters who dont have too much cover (Grimoire herald carry for instance, SM librarian, Tigurius...)

For me its either you play him REALLY backfield with an icarius or you dont play him

i think his ammo that strips invun sves will be good and i know wraithknights will be there.
