Hey, I have been playing D/Eldar for quite a while and I am thinking I have moved away from my original dark kin, relying to much on psykic trickery and Serpent OP cheese. SO this is my attempt to get back to my roots, Vect gets me first turn for the Alpha strike and then second turn reserves brings me in a Beta strike as well in the form of the trueborn and the Void Raven for a 1 2 kind of attack force. Vect goes with his bit... I mean courtesans the blood brides as they go course as much havoc as possible while the splinter boats pump out a startling amount of fire power for points, I have downed entire wraithknights from one turn of close range shooting with these guys. I am a bit worried I am putting to much hope on the troops doing things other then scoring but they are also really good fire support as well as scoring so I don't want to waste that. I could swap Bloodbrides out for Incubi but I think that Vect can handle 3+ squads well enough (Regularly doing 4/5 wounds being the norm) and with all that speed there is no excuse for being caught up with a 2+ squad who can be torrented down. What do you think?

HQ: Vect, 240pts

Elites: 8 Bloodbrides w/ 3 Wych Weapons + Syren with Agoniser all with HWG.
Raider with Aether Sails and Flickerfields. 238pts

4 Blasterborn in Venom with double Cannon and Retrofire jets. 178pts

Troops: 3 x 8 Warriors + Sybarite and Warrior w/ splinter cannon in Raider with nightshield & splinter racks.

Heavy Support: Ravager with nightshields 115pts

Void Raven Bomber with flickerfields. 155pts

I'm not a DE expert by any means, but another ravager couldn't hurt? Also, I was thinking maybe go triple ravager since they start on the table turn one, and contribute more towards your initial alpha strike. We don't have much AA but I'm thinking our skimmers are fast enough to out maneuver enemy flyers.

Bloodbrides are tricky to run, but your doing it right with triple wytch weapons. I would go with triple nets to help bog down attacks from tougher units that may have multiple attacks. These are beautiful to take out monsterous creatures. Consider tossing the agonizer for a venom blade. Keep it cheap and efficient, as vect should do most of the heavy lifting.

I doubt you want the retrofire jets for the blasterborn, when you could just field them. Dropping them in is risky, but doable to protect what little AT you have.

Sybarites are OK for extra points, but I would try to squeeze more AT in your list somehow. Another ravager is ideal, even if you had to drop the bloodbrides to wytches or wracks. Maybe even grotesques...

I did really consider the extra ravager but I settled on the Raven due to for only 40 extra points you a lo more survivability as well as better weapons, that amazing Void mine with the minus of coming on turn 2+. This isn't so bad anyhow, because Vect doesn't assure first turn and to make a list based around such could yield problems when I don't get it. This way I have the option to reserve a considerable amount of my army (2 Troops and blasterborn) if I don't feel safe for first turn, say against drop pod lists, and have a considerable beta strike with the Blasterborn being effective AV as with the Void Raven.

On the Wych weapons I only really considered Hydra Guantlets because more attacks=more cost effecientcy for preferred enemy, but shardnets could be really nasty and let Vect easily handle MC such as Greater Daemons and Wraithknights that I would usually be hesitant to charge in the first place. I would consider dropping the Agoniser for a Venom blade, giving me the points to give the Splinterboats retrofire jets so I can offensively beta strike. Now that I think about it, with all this deep striking and Splinterfire as well as Combat Drugs, would it be a good idea to swap Vect for the Duke at this point level, would free up a few points but he isn't half as deadly. Hmm, decisions decisions.
