I have this strange feeling of déjà-vu... Do I know you? Either that or someone else did a remarkably similar conversion

No but seriously, were you part of a 11000pt per side game? The 17th of November?

Either way, the paint job is nothing short of awesome

1400 points of EW/MW Italians (FoW)
2200 points of SoB and Inquisition (40K)
1000 points of orks (40K)
Just starting out with Ultramarines (30K)
Four 1000-2500 point forces for WHFB (RIP)
One orc team (Blood Bowl)

Wow. Amazing conversion. Hard to see from table distance but up close you can see the work. Kudos

They were doing great up until the fact they're still mounted on Juggers. The head is ridiculously distinctive. Yes, you've changed up the legs, but they still look too distinctively like Juggernauts.

Why not swap the heads to something more Tzeentchian-esq? Like something far more avian.

Excellent painting on these, but the mounts look a little half-arsed to me.

The free hand on the banner is amazing! All of it is TBH, but that banner really stood out to me. Great Job

@ Brother Michael: Yeah i played in a big 4v4 in Moenen & Marieken in Nijmegen together with my brother (Dark elves), and 2 other guys playing Orks&gobbos and Vampire counts

@ Grimtuff: I considered doing eagle heads instead of the Skullcrusher heads - i also considered mounting the knights on discs or other mounts. In the end i made a decision that i still want them to be useable in tournaments and as such they would need to *sort of* be the official models within the limits of conversion... But you're absolutely right avian heads would be icing on the cake!

I love it! Really, excellent conversion
Still obviously Skullcrushers but distinctly Tzeentch. You've almost got a perfect balance between those two elements.

The one thing that doesn't feel right is the banner. Not the banner itself but rather how it obscures the guy holding it.

Aside from that I really like what you've done here.
Keep up the nice work.

Peace

Loving them! You avoid the bland colorless palette I hate so much in Khorne units as well as the disgusting avian features of the Tzeentch ones. Demonic perfection! I really enjoy these.

Wow, that looks great! Do you have separate pics of each piece against a neutral background? I'd love to see that, because now there's too much stuff going on at the same time to see all the details.

How did the tournament go?
