Hello all, I was wondering what is the best way to stop your super heavies going nuclear during a game of apoc. I'm planning on using a broadsword fellblade and I want to use that uber dakka mega bolter at least once before it gets blown up. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.

Thanks dakka.

Void shield generators x3 with 3 shields each from stronghold assault and make sure they cannot be melta dropped on with any ease.

Void shield generators help quite a bit. Also use bodies. If you don't leave room for meltas to get in range, they won't have an easy time.

Since you're house-ruling the tank itself you could always just give it melta immunity and some extra HP.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Peregrine. I wish mate but I'm pushing my luck using this model
In the first place. Just imagine it though, a tank that can shrug off melts hits. It's a beautiful thought.
