The Twilight Zone

Get a drone controller on one of your commanders, to make the drones in the unit BS5. Consider some target locks for multi threat fun. Vectored thrusters on one commander are also pretty important in case something gets to you in combat. As always, the neuroweb jammer is a must take if you have 2 points spare.

For a tourney, I would expect multiple riptides. Would be good to shoe one in.

I think EWO is better than velocity for the broadsides, as TL snap shots are still decent AA, but you can shoot at a filer before it causes problems. If the flier can, it is liable to target your broadsides and gun them down before you can shoot back. Bonding is also nice, but with that many drones you need a 'vre. A turn you spend pinned or broken is a turn you snap shoot, so the extra ld really matters.

The lone fire warriors are a bit meh, when you have access to scoring jetbikes and kroot. Compared to the rest of your army they are relatively easy targets, Consider dropping them for kroot, or points elsewhere.

I think a skyray would be a great addition. The velocity tracker gives you a potent AA unit, while providing mobile markerlight support and a payload of missiles you can dump into something should you need. For very cheap.

Keep the farseer on the bike, so they can party with the suits or wherever they are needed. Singing spear is a nice grab for spare points.

Solid otherwise.

So, what does the farseer do in this list? He TL stuff? pointless because nearly everything in Tau dex is or can be TL, ignore cover, they do that too.... I guess what i'm saying is, take a spiritseer save 45pts, stick him with missilesides and roll twice on telepathy for invisible.

Right. Added 'em.

Yeah, one guy has a few. Just bought the box. Gotta start building.

Points are too tight for SkyRay and XV104. Prolly just the rip. Singing Spear. All very good points that will keep me from making any friends.

Always good advice, thanks, Serling.

@Arbiter: Good point. I'll see where my points shedding will end up, but more TL is always good, like on the WraithKnight.

An xv88 & MDs , one PF unit and a few FWs got cut to make room for the Riptide. I might just flip the FWs out entirely for another set of PFs, though that thins out my troops on what are often BAO format missions. If I fail to assemble & paint the XV104 in time, then all of those units are back in.

Are my points on the mark? Please check as I've been screwing up a lot lately on this ... with Muhreens, though.
