I'm building a GK + Imperial Guard list for a game against a Tyranids army. Haven't played against their new codex yet so I need some advice.
Here's what I was thinking:
Grey knights
HQ
Coteaz (the one and only...)
Hereticus Inquisitor + psyocculum + power armour + null rod
Elites
Techmarine + orbital strike relay
Troop
Terminator squad + psybolt ammunition + brotherhood banner + 3Xfalchions + psycannon + Justicar Thwan
Henchmens: 2Xservitors w/ plasma cannons + acolyte
Henchmens: 3Xacolytes w/ flamers
Heavy Support
Land Raider Crusader + psybolt ammunition
Nemesis DredKnight + gatling psilancer + heavy incinerator + personal teleporter + greatsword
Imperials:
HQ
Lord commisar + carapace armour + plasma pistol + power weapon
Elites
guardsman Marbo
Troop
infantry platoon:
platoon command squad + autocannon + 2Xsniper rifles
3Xinfantry squads
heavy weapon squad (mortars)
Fast Attack
Hellhound
fortification
Imperial bastion + Icarus cannon
I think Its a good combination between low strength templates and spam for the horde and some heavy hitters for the monsters.
I'm counting on my terminators to ride in on the land raider and take down one of the big monsters (the brotherhood banner is there to help them turn on their force weapons - because that annoying shadow in the warp rule)
