As the title says it's a load out question. I'm building some warriors I had bought in anticipation of the new dex and am now assembling them (more just for the sake of assembling than anything else) and was wondering if it was worth 10pts to give them rending claws and a deathspitter (making them 40pts each) or just keep them with the bare minimum.

It's really, really worth taking the time to magnetize them. It isn't hard.
Especially considering on of the pluses of the codex is mixed broods - sticking to one configuration is going to limit you, and make it more likely you'll end up leaving them at home.

I've actually just un-magnetised mine (glued the weapons on) as they were a bit fiddly and kept falling off all the time. Although these are the old models, I'm not sure if the new ones are much easier.
Personally I run them in minimum 110pt broods of 3 with Deathspitters and a heavy weapon (usually a Barbed Strangler for the pinning effect). The melee upgrades are way overcosted, and Warriors are still fairly squishy there anyway.
I keep them back a bit as fire-support and synapse units with minimum expense.

Yeah these warriors are the old battleforce box ones. I thought about magnetizing but I have no magnets :(

Often times you local hobby store sells them. You can also get them off of ebay or K&J Magnetics. I use the 1/8" magnets for mine.

I use them to hold objectives so I take Death Spiters and a Venom cannon

3mm magnets, perfect for warriors, cost only pennies.
Ours seem to stay together fine, altho now I think about it, on the old models magnetising the devourers is a pain as you are essntially using termagant arms, which you have to pin and straighten. But death spitters (and one barbed strangler) is pretty easy.
Compromise would be to use a dab of superglue - which will pull off way more easily than poly cement.
1/8 magnets are IIRC same as 3mm, and you simply fit 3 in a row into the body, which is much easier, for various reasons.

Bare with a Strangle cannon is good. I think of both Rending claws and Deathspitters as auto-takes....so having both just gives you a unit that can do what ever is needed....for pure CC (a poor choice most times ) you can go Rend, Adrenal, Scything, Flesh hook.... but I can't reccomend it.
I've been thinking a large unit with "do it all" kit might make a fearsome outflank unit for Hive commander..?

In the codex it says you can give up ST for rending and the devourer for another shooting symbiote but can't do strait shooting or melee which is kinda lame... I mean giving 9 warriors 2 deathspitter each would make them worth it wouldn't it? 54 shots would be pretty cool

Only vehicles and MCs can fire 2 weapons in the shooting phase so it'd be pointless anyway.
My own loadout is Deathspitter + Scything Talons to keep them cheap. I generally keep them on objectives or act as synapse anchors so I don't want to break the bank. It's also a decent loadout for outflanking too, 9 will have 27 S5 AP5 shots (less if you run a heavy weapon of course).

Are they worth running in packs of 9?

I second the recommendation for K&J Magnets. www.kjmagnetics.com
I picked up 250 small magnets for $34 US recently.
If the arms / weapons are heavy, use 2 magnets: 1 for the arm and 1 for the mount location, make sure polarity is correct. If a particular heavy item will hold but rotates, supplement the attachment point with a pin.
You never want to optimize a build for a current dex or ruleset. 5 years down the road from now, another weapon may be more desirable.

Id say magnets all the way, thats what im doing. I don't plan on painting all the options, just having them drilled and ready. There is still a slim chance that the next dataslate will have something that would make you want to shift away from the current standard build. If it or something else changes things you'll be hay you did.

If you're outflanking or want to get them into assault, always. If you just want to babysit/provide synapse/objective camp, then 3 hiding in cover should be sufficient.
