Subject: My Anaconda Don't Want None....

So I just bought an Anaconda because it looks awesome, not realizing that my Nomads can't actually use it. Not a big deal since I love the model anyways.
But I looked on the infinity army builder, and it looks like the Qapu Khalki Sectorial is the only one that can actually use it. Is that right, or did I miss one?
Secondly, assuming I don't care that much about playability and the fact that I can't actually use it as a Nomads TAG, is there anything fluffy that would "discourage" me from painting it up in Nomads colors? I know it was originally a part of the Nomads Amphibian TAG series, but can't find where/why they no longer use it.
Thanks!

In ITS events it can only be taken by the Merovingian Rapid Response Force. Outside of ITS events it can be taken with your Nomads just like any other mercenary unit.
Scarface is the mercenary TAG that can be taken by Qapu Khalki.

Ohhhh.. So does the Infinity Army builder only give me options for ITS stuff?
I did not realize that!

I don't know why the infinity army one does it - it takes so long to load that I invariably give up on it - I use aleph toolbox.
As IJW said, only MRRF in ITS get to have the anaconda.
QK gets Scarface as their merc (but also get to borrow the nomad Iguana).
Oh, and the nomads have the "reptile" class TAGs, not "amphibian". Formerly a PanO thing, they were sold off as obsolete tech when PanO came up with the Ghost piloted versions.

Where does it talk about the ghost piloted versions? Are the Iguana and Lizard "ghost piloted?" Or are any of the ones with tiny man arms and actual pilots non-ghost?

Yeah, the Army Builder is a ~23 megabyte .swf file Just load it using chrome and then go into your browser cache and save the file for future use, rather than reload it every time.
I dislike the Army Builder because I can't figure out how to print to pdf with it. and shock wave flash? Who uses that anymore?
Ghost piloted= remote presence. Only Pan-O TAGS have it, and almost all remotes. The Lizard and the Iguana do not have it.

It there's arms, it's not Ghost piloted. The exception is a few of the much older TAGs don't have the arms as they are a lot simpler but still have the pilot in the chest, like the Szalamandra.
About the Anaconda, I'm not a fan of building for ITS all the time. Mercs are there to use. Just make sure you're opponent is okay with it and enjoy blowing stuff up with your big robot.

ALL PAnO TAGs are Ghost: Remote pilot. The Marut is likewise (Made BY PanO FOR Aleph).
Ghosted TAGs have a pilot operating it by remote from somewhere OFF the battlefield, in a secret armoured bunker (in another part of the planet, if not another planet entirely. It's a technology they stole off the greatest rock band in the universe. Disaster Area.) Ghost:Remote are also immune to sepsitor (like anything without a cube).
The other tags which have a pilot/operator profile are not. The ones with tiny arms are physically piloted by a being inside them (the little arms encase the pilot/operator arms and the larger arms are slave controlled to them). This includes the Scarface, Anaconda, Raicho, O-yoroi, Lizard and Iguana TAGs. The Marghariba guard, the Guija, and the Szalamandra are all piloted TAGs too, whether or not they have the little "master" arms (because they ALL have 'pilot' or operator profiles in addition to the TAG.)

Just because I feel the need to make another post about it, how fething cool are those new Geckos?
Dead on the concept artwork, looks like it is straight out of Appleseed - think that's probably my favourite TAG release so far.

They're amazing. I want to see them side by side with the iguana. The art book shows that it should be about a full head shorter, but they really seem to fill up those 40mms

Seriously cannot wait to but a pair of these for my nomads. Much as I like my proxy, these are incredibly awesome models.

Those geckos look pretty sweet I'll agree, it would be funny if you had been using these guys as a proxy beforehand though.

I'll be getting some.
I don't even play nomads.
Nor do I want to.
I don't care if they never see the table, I just want them because they look cool.
Armor trooper VOTOMS cool.
