Ok Dakka,

I play a Imperial Armored Battle group out of Imperial Armour Vol.1, 2 ed.. I have heard that slick loader has been nerfed in 6th ed. I have also heard it's still legal. Which is it???? Where can I find it in writing if it's still legal??

Thanks
Pudster

That way,then left

If you're using this book : http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Imperial_Armour_Books/IMPERIAL_ARMOUR_VOLUME_ONE_SECOND_EDITION_IMPERIAL_GUARD.html
I see no mention of Slick Loader at all, meaning this option might have disappeared.
This is the latest version and the one to use
Bear in mind it has been FAQ'ed (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/downloads/product/pdf/i/IA12ndEdFAQ_Errata_v2.pdf) which changes quite a few things, but doesn't add the Slick Loader rule/option

Slick loader was an upgrade option in an old version of the Armored Battlegroup army list (it allowed you to fire your main gun twice if you didn't move). It has been removed entirely in the current version of the army list (IA1 second edition), just like how new codex releases often change the rules for units. Anyone who is saying that it still exists at all, whether as it used to be or in nerfed form, is wrong.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
