Heading to my first, albeit small, tournament on Sunday and I'd love some last looks at my list. Any feedback you've got, on character builds, on Lore choice, on pretty much anything is not just welcome, but entirely helpful.

Hey, Eternal Guard aren't the most competitive choice but are usable with the right magic gotten off at the right time. It's a good base list, only a few things I would suggest.

You are spending to much on that Alter Noble for a not great return in survivability. For example for 10 less points then Fortune you can get Shield of Ptalos which grants a 1+ save Vs shooting attacks. More then enough to protect him against sustained small arms fire and that 5+ won't help much if a determined enemy wants to have this guy cannoned down. Another thing is that BSB would be better served carrying a magic standard, of which you have 2 good choices. A simple War Banner for better combat rez or my favourite the Razor Banner for better killyness for the whole unit.

I would also advise against those Glade Riders, for the same price as 5 riders you get 10 Guard who will ultimately course much more damage. Unless you plan on using them explicitly as war machine hunters (which they don't do well as) then you should 100% use the Glade Guard instead, much better at clearing chaff. The 6 man Treekin blob will do very, very well. I have used this unit and it is beastly, I have a feeling these will give you your wins. Other then that good luck, as a fellow Woody player, I know you will need it!

I retooled a bit. Better Highborn build, stronger nobles, better chaff clearing, but still keeping the riders for feigned flight and breaking up the TreeKin to force me not to use them as an anvil, but as a pair of hammers or pincers.
