Starting a White Scars force. It'll be mostly Scout-based and I cannot wait to pick up and paint some Scout biker models.

Here's the first soldier of my force:

Nice work. The smoothness of the white and the quality of the face is amazing.

Not sure why you'd give them shotguns, but otherwise a lovely model. I'm a big fan of the basing ^~^ Looks like Mars.

Thanks all!

@BrotherOfBone: Of the 30 or so scouts I plan to model, only 3 will have Shotguns I just painted him first because his pose was so cool. And yup, going for iron rich desert (and rubble, yet to be seen).

@Paradigm: The face was interesting. SM Scouts have the oddest facial structures, but it allows for a lot of interesting paintjobs when you get creative. I doctored his face up with some mustache in Photoshop earlier this morning, check it out:

A little goofy, but it was just a quick mock-up. I think the eyebrows are too big. I also intend to use a bunch of Space Wolf heads for more variety.

Awesome job! But I gotta say, not a fan of the facial hair additions, at least not the eyebrows. They need to be much thinner or something. Can't quite put my finger on it. Great work though!

The facial hair clogs up the face in my opinion, definitely go for some of the SW heads, they're actually pretty cool. I'd use them mainly on your Scout Bikers, I mean they /must be nuts/ if they're riding those things.

Really nice work. Very smooth white, and I like how you used khaki for the pants and sleeves. Love seeing the shotguns. i am painting a scout crew myself, all with shotguns. Why? Because shotguns look bad ass. Sure, they are not as good as boltguns, but I play with folks that allow you to designate what your troops are armed with ahead of time so the rules do not get in the way of the models looking their coolest.

Great paintjob and scheme, but those faces! My good God. Looks like Wayne Rooney gurning his face of on ecstasy. I bought after-market heads for mine from Anvil Industries because I couldn't stand them

LOL, glad you all liked the photoshop face fun. I think it's a dangerous thing to even attempt to make a fu manchu look... mean. It's definitely the eyebrows though .
