I was wondering where I could get alternative movement trays to those GW offers for less. Does anyone know where such things could be found?

I have seen quite a few pdf cut out ones on ebay

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

I always make movement trays out of the sprue i have kicking around (gakking tons of the stuff - but i use it) and the cardboard that models come in, just PVA or Superglue it around a piece of card so the models fit. Easy.

Going the cheap route, some of the folks I play with use those clear plastic CD jewel cases with a few modifications.

If you want it cheap, use cardboard or plasticard.
If you want it beautiful, use these:

Seems, Micro Art has discontinued their range of movement trays.

I recommend making your own out of plasticard. You can get bunches of plasticard sheets on the cheap from Ebay.

This is what I made.

I use the cardboard from the kit's box and the left over sprue cut to size. Keeps plastic out of the ground and is 100% GW product. It can look really nice if you take your time.
