A friend of mine, an American serviceman and his family, are staying abroad for a few years, the UK to be precise. After living there for a year now he's curious to know if there's any club activity going on around Kettering and Huntingdon. He's also a frequent visitor of GW Kettering.

So, can you friendly lot help my friend out?

Heya, I just registered, the aforementioned friend here. Apart from at the GW at Kettering (which is about 15-20 miles away), I haven't really met anybody locally who plays 40k or anything else really. I'm wondering if there's a nearby club already, or enough interested people to meet at the village hall once a month or so for a game night. Thanks Mac for posting.

Cheers,
-DE

I'm gonna guess at Alconbury then, there's a nice little shop called Niche Comics in Huntingdon, it's a little walk off of the high street and they do have at least one table upstairs. It also helps that they're friendly, family run and knock 10% off of GW prices in store. As for actual games though I can only wish you luck, I had a little dig around when I first moved to the general area, but I've pretty much given up on the notion, if you do find anything worthy of note I'd love to find out about it though

It's on the other side of Kettering from me, but worth a shot, I'll pop into the forum sometime! Thanks!

It is a bit far out, farther than the Kettering GW is. :( Still, close enough to be worth investigating.

Hello,

I'll be moving in the near future to a village in north cambridgeshire, and will be looking for places to get a game in. I'm into warhammer fantasy, so if that's any good, let me know.
