Started Sisters even though they're ungodly expensive. Oh well that's what I get for putting off doing them for so long. Anyway it's a WIP going for a very high tabletop standard while trying to keep it along the lines of the old school gothic heavy metal style.

Comments and suggestions welcome. Still some parts of the robe to finish, purity seals, etc. Black armor seems simple but I find it one of the most difficult colors to paint well without looking just gray or black with line highlights.

I like it so far. The hair and face seem well done and I very much like the blue highlights on the bodice and shoulder pads. Great stuff so far.

Im just starting a sisters project with the same goal as you. Im very impressed by her. The only question I have is what did you do to highlight like that? Im intimidated by all the pewter in front of me and want to combat that with good information! Keep up the good work!

oh yea and what is your flesh technique?

Primed black then painted all but the recesses with Vallejo German Grey which is such a dark grey it's nearly black.

edge highlights in 3 layers starting with Reaper Stormy Grey, then again but over less of the edge with Reaper cloudy grey, and just a touch where light would strike the edge the hardest with Reaper Misty grey. All very watered down. The blue tint then come with a glaze of GW Glaze Guilliman Blue.

The face was basecoated with Reaper Chestnut Gold, then P3 Ryn flesh/ chestnut gold 50/50, with the final layer being pure Ryn Flesh.

Almost forgot after all that I came back with a black wash. Custom made from floor polish, and Didi's magic ink.

It's very nice, especially the face! I rushed through my army a little so it's only poor tabletop standard. When I've got them mostly done ill try to touch up using your face painting method.
