ok im about to give my airbrush a REALLY good clean, i dont have any airbrush cleaner and was wondering if powerspray would be safe to use on the finish of the brush?
any airbrush / powerspray experts out there a quick answer would be much appreciated

Really not sure on that, check the powerspray bottle for any comments about not using it on chrome though

Im quite confident itle clean the paint off nicely.. but if it does indeed eat chrome then thats going bye bye too :/

I usualy use IPA or acetone in my airbrush. Does just fine.

OK well i gave it a go it didn't say anything on the bottle about chrome finishes (it does say may damage paint work though)
i used it watered down just to clean paint out of the cup.
the results are pretty amazing don't think my airbrush has looked this clean since it was new.
