Question: If I exchange a whole Ork Boyz mobs Sluggas for Shootas and I purchase an Ork Nob character upgrade, does the Ork Nob need to equiped with a Shoota as apposed to a Slugga? Assuming I dont purchase any other upgrades for him.

Actually that said I think its helped me decide, yes he has to keep the shoota/slugga the mob has.

FAQ says that you chose to upgrade the Nob before choosing to take shootas, I think. That means that the shoota will not override the Power Klaw/Big Choppa selection.

You're allowed the klaw either way.

Basically it says you took the guy, gave him the klaw, and all that before you switch the units weapons to shootas...because he's got a klaw he can't switch a slugga/choppa to a shoota and keeps his loadout because he can't make the swap out requirements for the new loadout.

Your nob would need to be loaded out to match the mob if you didn't have either.
