This is a bit of eldar fluff. My grammar and punctuation are terrible but I am dyslexic so I try to work on these, anyway, enough of the self pity here you are:

The Eldar of Hae Dien Aes or The Golden Harvest are probably the most successful craftworld. They were the first of the ancient eldar to move away from the main seat of power when one of their warlocks tried to assassinate their Autarch, the Autarch, named A'Drian survived and slew the treacherous warlock but the encounter scarred him physically and psychically. The attack opened his mind to the overripe self indulgence and unstable luxury of his brothers to escape this he built the first of the craftworlds. While others built after his were functional to the point of irrational A'Drian's spacebound city was massive bigger than most moons. He named it the Hae saedr o while the Eldar empire was destroyed and Slaanesh was born A'Drian's Eldar came across a planet which they named Lae con en which translated to the place of golden pastures. A'Drian thought that this was the perfect place for his eldar to settle so they began to mine and build a settlement. It was a city of towering spires and astounding architecture but, like the eldar empire the city was doomed. An ancient race, the necrons, were awakened by the Eldar. Unstoppable, the necrons swept through the surprised Eldar and destroyed the city. But the eldar while evacuating found a diamond the size of a small tank. The Eldar took it aboard their ship and A'Drian's engineers saw the possibility for it to power a weapon of mass destruction that would vaporise the necrons to the point where even they, with their superior self-repair systems would not be able to return. It is unknown what spawned this idea but some think that it was a vision sent by the remnants of the old eldar gods who were trying to bless A'Drian. The crystal was harnessed to its deadly potential and wiped the planet clean of all living life. All that was left of the necrons were blocks of gold with a great surprise the eldar found that the capabilities of these strange blocks of gold could exceed any thought another scientist could have on unlimited energy sources. For if you took a grain of these gold blocks they could power a medium sized weapon for a couple of millenia! The eldar collected these blocks of gold and tethered their ship with a gravitational anchor to the planet then they renamed themselves the craftworld of Hae Dien Aes {The Golden Harvest}. Imperial forces contacted them in m.36 where there was a slight engagement before a peace treaty was signed. Today, the eldar adorn their armour with gold decor and A'Drian their famous autarch lives on still powerful and quite possibly the oldest being in the planet that has not spent time in the warp.

Thanks for reading! Please tell me about grammar and punctuation issues whether its a PM or comment. Also if there is anything you like about it please tell me Here's where I got the eldar names from: http://rumandmonkey.com/widgets/toys/namegen/2177/#.UwKPYEt9TWy

Not up on my Eldar fluff but there are a few odd bits.
his eldar to settle so they began to mine and build a settlement. It was a city of towering spires and astounding architecture but, like the eldar empire the city was doomed. An ancient race, the necrons, were awakened by the Eldar. Unstoppable, the necrons swept through the surprised Eldar and destroyed the city.

First: The eldar are more than likely going to be able to detect or sense Necrons. Fighting Necrons is kinda their thing next to fighting chaos.
Second, Eldar don't really need to mine.
Not sure about the very first bits really... As I said i'm not up on my Eldar fluff so I guess it could work.
The whole gold part of the golden harvest is a bit... well a bit weird. Gold is exceedingly soft in terms of metals and as an energy source is non-existent. It just sounds kinda rubbish, sorry. Maybe another gold coloured energy source, like it burns gold-coloured energy or something.
