a predator lascannons all round 140

and a stormraven gun ship 4 storm strike missiles twin linked multi meltas and twin linked lascannons 200

How would you like this breaking down? Is this for a competitive style of play or pick up games or a known group?

competitive i guess well as it can get using lysander. i'm looking for it to be able to stand a chance against far site if possible hence all the plasma for the riptides although grav guns are probably better for that it would be nice if it could face other armies that aren't all
2+ armor saves

In that spirit then, I can't recommend any terminators, they are over priced and not really that solid.

Termies I would recommend against. Sternguard with plasma (or melta) need a ride, preferably a drop pod.

Tactical marines are plain bad. If you can it is better to take Bikes, although you will need to put a guy on a bike in HQ to do so. They are more manoeuvrable and better armed.

Maybe OK. Personally I would suggest just the top lascannon or a dakka pred, the sponson lascannons are less than impressive for their cost.

This is fine. Prefer Assault Cannon to Lascannon myself, more shots, generally more effective. This is OK though.

It would also help if you could give us some idea of your plan. That is what units go where and such, deployment and purpose of each unit really helps in evaluating a list.

Yeah, generic captain on a bike is fine, in fact I think just about every HQ can take a bike.

Yes but they count as troops only if a captain or chapter master is riding a bike

Lysander and 5 termies in a land raider is still very solid. A lot less lists are taking anti AV14, do to the changing meta. As such that unit can still do a lot of damage. Bikes are fun, but you already have 200 plus points in lyssander. I would stick with the tac marines, and use the points you would have spent on a captian or chaptermaster on a bike on some centurians, or some tank hunting dev squads. Something really good for imperial fists, is get a quad gun and stick a dev squad on it, giving the quad gun tank hunter, will allow you to kill almost any air you find yourself up against.

Also bikes don't help you a lot here, you have bolter drill, so twink linked bolters on bikes doesn't really make a difference. Tactical squads are not bad, there just not amazing. I think your fine taking 2 squads and perhaps a combat squad to help with objective holding.

Also the sterns are fine, but I agree they need a razorback or a drop pod.

I think that basic stuff will make a pretty strong 1500 list, and you will be able to field lyssnad effectively.
