Hello all!

My name is Zack, and I'm from the great state of Texas!

So here's a bit of history with me and Warhammer, it all started maybe 7 or so years ago, my father was preparing to leave to Afghanistan for his 8 month tour with the Airforce, and before he left, he took us to a hobby shop to get us some models we had seen at another store that he knew would rather buy at a local store, when we arrived, we saw our first glimpse of warhammer, with a cased up tau cadre painted in an urban camo get up. I was amazed by how awesome this was, and the shop owner allowed me to play with his own tau army vs space marines against my father. Since then, I've been wanting to play, but I was 14 back then and funds were pretty tight. I had planned to play with my dad, but as the weeks went on, we ended up forgetting it, and we were so glad to have him back home that we kinda forgot all about it until last month.

I was helping my roommate do some project for his fraternity, and he needed me to google the letter "tau", low and behold, the familiar look of the tau fire warrior symbol popped up, and after chatting with my fiancé about starting a new hobby and selling some MTG stuff, I'm finally going to be playing 40k!

I'll mostly be playing 1850, and 2500 point games and have aquired all the minis I need for both. We've been building daily (a bit here and there) and painting for a few weeks now.

My fiancé is a painting major, so she's doing most of the troops, while I'm focusing on crisis suits and building. Here's some of our work:

Hi Zack,

Welcome aboard. I think this needed to go in to introductions. I'll hit the mod button to get it moved before the wolves descend.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”
