I want to have my units on a magnetic base and i know how am going to put it together. I was wondering what strength magnet do i need? I am going to be using 1/8" x 1/16" magnets. I see a lot of N42 and N48. I found on amazon a bunch of N48 magnets for not that much, but i dont know if that would be to strong. I was thinking N40 but haven't found any.

Would N48 magnets be to strong?
Are there stores that sell 1/8" x 1/16" magnets in store and not just online?
would 1/8"x1/16" magnets be big enough for 25mm and 40mm square bases?

N42 and N48 would both be fine. Neither is gonna drop off, nor is it gonna have you wrenching your guys off of most metals. The quality of your metal plate you're plopping your magnets down on does matter, but I can't imagine it would get too strong with that size of N48.

Rather than open a new topic about this I shall ask my questions here! (sorry in advance!)

Were can you get these metal movement trays I hear people speak of? ones that you can have your minis on with a magnet on and they wont slip or slide around?

Thanks in advance.
