Hi guys, we have just recently started up a club in my local area and small scale tabletop games are reigning supreme with people. One of which is Necromunda. Since most people including myself don't have original Necromunda gangs (I have a proper enforcer team) I have been trying to come up with ways to convert models into Necromunda looking models so not everyone has catachans or normal guard models running around as gangs.

Here are some photo's of my take on a Cawdor gang, using some influence from the Joker from Batman to use clown make up as a alternative to face masks.

Do you have any ideas for quirky ways models could be converted to make some different looking gangs?

Thanks!!!

I don't know about quarky but I created this gang. I started thinking about them in September 2005 but didn't finish them until February 2012. Got there in the end!

They may not be quirky but they are different! They look awesome though and I can see why they took so long! Awesome work on the molding guns and hats though, your fire team SGT makes me jealous! Johnny Mac is definitely Australian!

A little something I don't publicise all that much about the gang is where their names come from. They're a memorial project dedicated to the young men who fought in Vietnam. Johnny Mac was from Texas and he was 19 when he was killed in action in the Quang Tri province of Vietnam. I figured that he deserved a second chance in the underhive, in the tradition of Lord Yester. Some people feel this is disrespectful but my intentions were quite the opposite.

I bet those same people would happily sit down and play a game based in the war like conflict: Vietnam..... Either way they do look good, and the painting not bad. Most people i know either ahve undercoated models or no paint at all...so the effort still wins

I am currently helping a friend make some american indian gangs for necromunda. I have yet to decide what my band will be made from.

What model types and parts are you using to make them? And what type of guns...Kroot rifles?

Not sure if it is really quirky or not, but I have been recently working on some of the Chaos Cultist from the Dark Vengeance set for a Chaos Cawdor Gang and some Space Marine Scouts to have as my Van Saar gang with a Fallout 1/2 Brotherhood of Steel feel to them.

That's what most of clowns are as a base

@Nevie .... Those are awesome I rated them for you. Easily coolness 10!
