TEXAS40K SPRING ESCALATION LEAGUE
Welcome to the Texas40K Spring Escalation League! This league is designed to help you build up your army and play new players and armies here in the DFW 40K community. This league is all about getting games in and having lots of fun!

LEAGUE OVERVIEW
• Begins March 9th, 2014
• Ends May 3rd, 2014
• 750pts – 1500pts with 2 weeks dedicated to each point level
• $10 buy-in
• Play as many games as you want – no limit per bracket
• End of league tournament determined by league placement

IMPORTANT : Your name will not be added to the league results until the $10 buy-in is collected.
I am at Comic Asylum every Thursday night and Texas Toy Soldier on Tuesdays. I can also make other visits to stores as necessary.

ARMY/RULE SELECTION
•ARMIES – Each league participant may play up to 2 codices throughout the league. These forces can be used as allies, following the Allies chart in the 40k Rulebook, or as two separate armies.
•MISSIONS – The missions found in the core rulebook should be used for all games.
•STRONGHOLD/ESCALATION RULES – These supplements ARE ALLOWED as long as both players agree to use the rules for them. This means that you should be prepared with a list that does NOT use these rules in case your opponent does not agree to them.
•FORMATIONS - These ARE ALLOWED as long as both players agree to use the rule for them. Similar to Stronghold/Escalation, be prepared if your opponent does not want to use these rules.

WHERE CAN I PLAY GAMES?
Anywhere! The league really is about getting games in.
That being said – you will receive extra points for playing someone the first time. This means that going up to a store and meeting new players will grant you additional bonus points.

LEAGUE DATES
• March 9th – March 22nd – 750 points
• March 23rd – April 5th – 1000 points
• April 6th – April 19th – 1250 points
• April 20th – May 2nd – 1500 points
• May 3rd – End of League Tournament/Wrap-Up

LEAGUE POINTS
• Winning a game: 4 points
• Tying a game: 3 points
• Losing a game: 2 points
• Playing someone for the first time: Additional 4 points

Playing someone for the first time in the Spring League promotes everyone to play more league members and more armies. These points are in addition to the points earned by the results of the game.

STANDINGS AND PRIZES
The end of league tournament brackets will be determined using the league results. The winner of this tournament will be the League Champion!
