Hey guys, newb here. Played a tiny bit years ago, getting back into it now and need some help.

I was a bit confused with Chaos bikers and weather or not they get +1 in close combat? As in their wargear it states they come with a CCW and bolt pistol. Just trying to confirm if they do get this or not? After doing some googling it would appear they do, obviously you can equip them with a CCW, but got to have one hand controlling the bike, so where does the pistol go? Is it just a case of putting a holster on the side of the miniatures leg in order to gain the +1 attack or does it simply not matter if its on the minature, just enough that its in his wargear? Do you even have to give them a CCW such as a chainsword in order to get another attack or again is it a case of it just being in their wargear?

Another similar question in regards to the regular Chaos space marines. Codex states that "Any chaos space marine may take a CCW for 2pts a model or replace his boltgun with a CCW for free". So am i right in thinking that chaos space marines can all have CCW without a bolter for free and have both CCW, pistol and bolter for an extra two points, granting them another attack in CC? So again if i wanted them to have CCW, pistol and bolter would I just glue on a holster to the mini and is that enough to show he gets an extra attack or is it just a case of showing them the wargear list?

Sorry if these questions are obvious to most, just trying to confirm things before my friends try telling me i dont get the extra attack because he isnt holding sword and pistol

Any help would be great thanks guys.

When in melee, you can assume they let go of the handlebars to fight.

And this belongs in YMDC.

Ah ok sorry, i thought i might have the wrong section!

Obviously I assumed that they let go lol. Do i need to glue a pistol holster onto their legs or does it not matter?

From what I hear, you generally don't need to model stock equipment.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

1st point yes they get an extra attack. No you dont have to. I dont play wysiwyg though, But its kinda hard to model a model with all its listed wargear. it really only matters if say your sergeant is taking something different like a power axe or plasma pistol or something that you should model it that way to help your opponent. If its already listed it isnt necessary. (but dont model them with something they dont actually have = P)

2nd point yea your correct, pay the 2 extra points for all 3, Other wise you lose the bp OR boltgun (I believe) for the CCW.
