I'm one of the Malifaux leads for the Nova Open convention held in Crystal City, VA, right next to Washington, DC. We've just opened registration for the following Malifaux events:

Singles Grand Tournament
Doubles Grand Tournament
Story Encounter
Enforcer Brawl
Hardcore Tournament
Weekend Achievement League

The Story Encounter focuses on Malifaux's future, when Nicodem's final plan to have a zombie horde take over the city comes to fruition.

The Singles and Doubles tournaments will both be 50ss five round tournies, and will follow the new Gaining Ground rules, with the exception of proxies for as yet unreleased crews.

The Enforcer Brawl is an arena of death for your favorite enforcer model, and the Hardcore tournament is somewhat interesting: 20ss crews, led by a henchman, with Turf War as the only Strategy, and Assassinate is the only scheme. Did we mention the rounds are only 20 minutes? Play fast, and play to win!

Once you get your weekend pass, it's $60 for the singles events Ala Carte, though we have a weekend pass for all single events for $40.
The Doubles GT is seperate, but it's $50 for each team of two players.
