I am playing a 500 point series of games this month and I am trying out a myriad of lists, of which I sometimes don't have the model for and although I am quickly building up my CSM army sometimes on the first try I will be using proxies, which brings me to my question.

I have a DA vindicator, it has the large stubby gun on the front, and dude in the center on the top using a turret.

My CSM predator has "twin-linked lascannon and a Havoc Launcher.

For los and weapon destroyed purposes I'd like to nominated either or to represent the weapons if possible.

Which would be which? Which is forward 45 degrees and which is the top with 360 degrees if either are applicaple, if not are either side mounted ect. What is legal for los purposes for this model given the weapons.

The problem, is that on the Pred, the lascannon is turret mounted, which you really don't have on the vindicator.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

well what are the los for the two weapons then I don't have to use the model for anything other than a foot print, its a friendly game but I would just prefer to playt he los correctly, are they both 360?

Not sure on the Havoc Launcher. However, based on the Predator design, I'm guessing they are mounted on the side sponsons.

Yeah, 2 sponsons one on each side (optional), so the LoS would be the same as the LR sponsons, the Main gun is turret so 360 degree LoS and the havoc launcher is also a turret so 360 LoS

edit: About the footprint all marine and chaos marine vehicles are mostly rhino size, the footprint for the razorback, vindi, rhino and predator are pretty much the same, the predator does have that little extra area where the sponsons are

The twin-linked lascannon is turret mounted and has a 360 degrees of rotation. If it takes the extra two lascannon sponsons, they are side mounted with limited firing arcs. The havoc launcher is, for all intents and purposes, pintle mounted, and also has a 360 degree view of the battlefield.
