Does Blessing of the Omnissiah fail on a 1?
Sorry if this has been covered, I cannot find anything on the internet and I can't find anything in my rulebook, Codex or the FAQs that states it fails on a 1, however today I had two people tell me otherwise. We didn't have any books on hand so we couldn't check at the time and upon looking for it myself, I couldn't find it.

As for Orks: Can I, while playing a 2V2, have Ghaz and Mad Dok even if my brother has them in his list?
I was told no because they count as the same army and unique characters (obviously) can't be taken more than once.
I AM aware they can't be taken more than once per army, but this is two separate lists.
Also, if the above is true and I cannot take them because of my brother, wouldn't I be able to purchase Mad Dok's Cybork upgrade since it's the same army?

If I sound like I'm being a condescending butthole, I'm not. Read my reply as neutrally as possible, please and thank you.

There is no universal rule that says 1 is a failure. Unless the rule in question says you fail on a natural 1, then you can still pass.

The rules do not cover anything more than 1v1. So things will need to be discussed pre-game regarding how each players army will interact with their partners. If the decision was made that you are both controlling a part of a larger army, then only one of each Unique model can be taken, but you would both benefit (so your army would be able to take cybork bodies by your partner having mad dok).

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

That way,then left

It doesn't say it automatically fails on a 1, and no blanket rule states that a 1 is always a failure ( unlike saves for example, or 6's for characteristic tests).

The rules don't cover 2v2. You'll have to agree with your opponent on whether or not one side's forces count as a single army or if they're 2 separate ones. That'll answer your ork questions

Thanks, I was pretty sure that was the case for Blessing rolls.
And thanks for the answer to the Ork problem.

This is the problem with unique characters. They are suppose to be unique, which is why for some tournies they do not allow them to be part of the list.

As for 2 or more in a battle army. Everyone is correct there are no rules for doing this, so these would fall under house rules. But I still state the meaning of unique characters, which I have always taken to mean that there can be only 1 of them even in an Ork Vs Ork confrontation.

There are other things such as casting Waaagh! more than once. if 2 ork players on the same team, now have 2 waaagh! to cast since it effects only friendly Orks or do you only get 1, I would argue if you have 2 Warlord Traits you should get 2 Waaagh!, then there are Dakkajets, saying the when Waaagh! is cast double their shots, do they double their shots when an opponent cast Waaagh!?

In my opinion, all questions should be agreed upon before the battle, instead of during. There is nothing worse than the game coming to a halt because you thought you had an ace up your sleeve and then do a roll off, only to lose and basically ruin your entire strategy and more likely the game.
