good terrain and building companies? looking for medieval type stuff mostly

Ziterdes buildings look great if you take time to paint them.
Miniature Building Authority makes prepainted buildings with removeable roofs and floors, designed more for gaming than modelling.
Armorcast has a few good buildings.
War Torn Worlds make hills, rivers, swamps, woods and ruins. Their stuff is prepainted.
Conflix buildings are also prepainted, can be tricky to find.

Hills and woods are fairly easy to make yourself, but they can make quite a mess to do properly. Check Woodland Scenics products for materials to finish them.
