Hello everyone, as I continue to build and complete my amazing Elysian army (almost done FINALY!) my mind has already begun to wander as to what my next project will be and thanks to a few friends this is one I could really see happening. We are starting up Zone Mortalis at my FLGS and everyone is deciding to buy a small 500pt. Space Marine army to play in it and the Chapter I chose was the Howling Griffons as I love their fluff of being an aggressive chapter and always in combat, am still trying to decide on which color scheme out of these two which you can vote in the poll above!

Now unlike most other Space Marine players I am leaning towards creating a "Mechanized Spearhead" style of list as I love the Razorback model and think if played correctly this army can be pretty competitive. That and I think it would look really cool on the table top. Now this is a first attempt a this list so please any comments, thoughts or ideas as usual are more then welcome, thanks for posting guys!

List has been updated, would appreciate some feedback please. Not to sure about the loadouts for the squads and the Razorbacks themselves so any insight into that would be very much appreciated!

At the very least drop the grav guns from your tacticals...there are ery MEH on models that are not relentless. I would give them a mix of plasma/melta.

Agree with the Melta for sure, not so much on the Plasma as I already have few enough bodies as is! Last thing I need is an overheat. Anyone else have any suggestions? Still on the fence in regards to what I want to run for my next army and any thoughts, comments or ideas that you have that may assist in choosing this army will be appreciated!
