Is it true the new rulebook states that khorne, slaanesh and pleague bearers can NOT be in the same army together? Im just starting out and i bought 3 different sets of troops. If this is true could anyone help direct me haha. I live in orlando, fl and im hoping to find someone with experience to help get me on the right path. Thanks in advance

While Daemons are not my specialty, I do not recall reading anything that forbids the forces of different Chaos gods from being fielded together. I'm actually remembering that there are some additional rules when it comes to interactions between the different Daemons, for example a rule stating that Daemon independent characters can only join units which contain the same Daemon of X or Daemon of Y rule. Would be a very unusual rule to include if there is some general restriction denying the four Chaos gods from working together. Maybe there could be something on one or two individual units that I, as a not-daemon player, might over-look but it is doubtful there is a rule out right demanding that Armies of Daemons consist of only one God.

8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures. |

There's no restrictions when it comes to units with the different Daemons of X rules being in the same detachment. However as JinxDragon says an Independent Character from one god cannot join a squad of a different god.
This is covered under the first paragraph of "Daemonic Alignment" on page 26 of the Codex.
Furthermore units with Daemonic Instability cannot join units without DI and vice versa.

By the 37 keys of Tzeentch,We open the way for our brothers,
By the 1000 whispers of Slaanesh we call to them,
By the 12 plagues of Nurgle we fell their enemies,
And by the mighty axe of Khorne we cut open the world for them!

Thank you! I wanted to use bloodletters and plague bearers as my troops and was hoping to use seekers of slaanesh as a fast attack. Should i rethink this or does it sound fair as a beginner?

You can mix gods in your list easily enough, just be careful that it makes the Warp Storm potentially more dangerous. Although you can take Chaos Instruments to mitigate it somewhat.
Seekers are good, plaguebearers are good.
Bloodletters, they keep disappointing me. Only 1 attack and no durability makes them a real glass cannon.

Hmm. True. For my first battle i will go ahead and use the bloodletters lol. Then will switch. Possibly with either horrors or chaos marines. My main problem is i am stumped on HQ and gods/lords. They all are so sweet and all seem very worthy.

Bloodletters would be better if assaulting in general wasn't fairly gimp this edition, but as they were put out before GW realized this about 6th Ed, they're just a tad too expensive. It's worth noting, though, they're an oddly good unit to field with Aegis Defense lines due to their significant ballistics skill. BS5 on that Twin-linked Quadgun/Lascannon is pretty fun. No one else in the squad can shoot so you can try to daisy chain the squad to reach out and hold an objective if you're lucky enough to get on in your deployment zone.
