Please help fund the production of this miniature diorama called The Orc Raid. The digital sculpture is completed and is awaiting printing and production. The scale of the figures is 75mm.

We decided in an effort to keep overall costs and potential issues down to keep this project to a very limited scope. The Orc Raid diorama will be available in 2 options. A version that includes the Orc and Beast with base, and also a Special Edition version which consists of the Orc, beast, base, 2 Dwarf figures and skull accessories. There are also 2 available rewards for a painted version that will be hand painted by renowned miniature painter, Mary Profitt. Mary is an amazing talent and we are very fortunate to be able to have her participate on our project.

You are free to purchase as many copies as you would like of 'The Orc Raid" diorama, The Special Edition version of 'The Orc Raid' diorama, or the Orc miniature, 'Next'. There are no limits. Shipping will be an extra added cost of $15.00 World Wide.

(this is NOT from the KS but pulled from their facebook page and should give a rough impression of how their 3D sculpts transfer to prints, but I'm not sure if the print shown is 'maximum quality' or merely a test piece so while they won't be any worse they could be better)

)

They've added the chance to pick up their 28mm scale Dwarves

I checked it out, checked out the size, checked out the price, and then unfortunately mentally checked out.

While it is a nice sculpt, it's a bit larger than I have a need for. I know it's more of a sculpture piece, and that's cool- I'm sure there's a market for that.

I totally could have used just that orc on his mount for something on the tabletop if it was in a smaller scale.

Still, this seems like it will hit its funding goals with no problem, and I commend the KS creator for trying to keep things simple and reasonable, and not promising the world in lofty goals.

I understand there's a market for showcase pieces, but get the feeling this sort of project could do MUCH better by catering to the wargaming crowd and producing them in a common scale.

Maybe they'll consider making a smaller one in the future.

What with it being a digital sculpt and all, I would imagine it could be scaled down a bit (with some work naturally).

It'd be cheaper too I would imagine. I like cheap.
