Did I miss a beat here?

On the Mantic website, I was looking into some of the 'I'm-not-a-thunderfire-cannon' from the Forgefathers.

The 3-pack bundle is 19.99 pounds, but when you switch to American settings, it jumps to 39.99. According to my calculations, it should only come out to 33.33 dollars. That's a difference of $6.66 or 4 pounds. Seems like a pretty steep difference. Is there some reason for this that I haven't grasped? I mean, I'm assuming that Mantic isn't just trying to price gouge us poor Yanks, and that I'm just overlooking something...

...right?

Companies will often target price points, but Mantic is usually good with this stuff and avoids regional price gouging. If you message them, hopefully it's not intentional and they'd change it to $34.99 (*&#& off with the .99 already companies!) Or they'd up the UK bundle to 25 ; p

Was going to recommend WarStore but even their lowest price is $45 if you bought 3 of those.

The .99 serves an additional purpose for many retailers as I think you're pointing out.
If I give you, say, free shipping for $75 worth of stuff and my prices are things like $24.99...

Actually, it's a bit of marketing psychology.

Imagine the feeling when you position your tanks, engines idling, landing gear deployed for a low profile, with firing solutions along a key bottleneck. Then some fether lands a dreadnought behind them in a giant heat shielded coke can.

Same thing with the Raptors. I think it's an error (should be a 3 pack for $34.99), but it was enough to cause me to not buy direct from Mantic (slightly cheaper at online discounters for me to get Raptors)
