Nurgle Predator Driver with an Infestation

What are the best options for a CSM Daemon Prince? Obviously Wings and Power armor, but what from there? Do you make him/her a psyker, or just add the black mace and go nuts?
If you do go psyker, is Tzeentch the best because of the re-rolls of 1's?
Should I even bother with the DP and just bring Be'Lakor?

Just bring Be'Lakor. You're going to end up spending as much points anyway to build one that won't even be as good as him. If you really want to bring a regular DP Chaos Daemons ones are way better in pretty much every way.

How are they better? They are both the same points. Is it because the Chaos Daemons psyker disciplines compared to the CSM ones?

The only really useful CSM DP is the 275pt version.. Anything else is too expensive, and even at 275 he's a pretty bad choice imo
No psyker levels, too expensive and the demon version can take greater rewards.

As much as I love my DP, go but the CD codex and ally in a Daemon one instead.

I haven't used a Chaos Daemons DP before. What is the best load-out? If taking rewards, what results are you aiming for?

For the Chaos Daemon Daemon prince to some extent it depends on what role you want the prince to play.
The base is
Armor
Flight
2 Greater rewards
3 Mastery levels.
Then where you go from there is role dependent (and point dependent)
Basically not Khorne.
IF you want anti flyer, you go slaanesh, for lash, and hope for iron arm.
If you want an all around prince Tzeentch, can shoot, and bring a lesser reward for S8, has the best LD for Psychic tests, and good durability with re-roll 1s to saves.
If you want a CC badass, generally nurgle is the way to go, take a lesser reward (if points allowed) for a weapon, take the balesword with one greater reward (typically with 2, one will end up being not great), and then you end up with 6 attacks base (5+ offhand) that are Poisoned, instant death. If you get warp speed, you end up throwing a ton of instant death attacks, that typically wound on 2s and re-roll failed wounds and are AP2.

Lesser Daemon of Chaos

I want to love the csm dp so much, but its hard to. He's pretty fragile for his point cost. Psyker is nice but you're forced to take a sub-par codex power since undivided isn't a thing anymore. Not to mention the 'daemon of' benefits are pretty lack luster for the DP. Tz reroll 1's is nice but its the worst psychic table around. You are also forced to take a spell familiar (Ld 9? really? even with VotlW included). You won't have safety in numbers since he's HQ.
In the end he doesn't have a chance of working unless you load him with upgrades but by that time he's so costly that it's a very risky tactic that requires a cautious play style. Yes, your immortal psyker combat machine must be played cautiously.
CD have greater rewards which work well with the DP in that many of them help shore up his fragility. The only thing that csm dp has over the cd is the black mace. Admittedly that can be devastating IF it gets in combat.
What I think is really missing for the DP is a cheap option. They aren't tough enough to foot slog anywhere but I feel if they had a jump option for 15 pts or so would make it a possibile to run one sub 300 pts. And for goodness sake make him Ld10. The DP being the lowest Ld HQ in the book is ridiculous.
Bel'akor addresses most if not all of the DP issues for a similar price point. I consider it a 'what a 300 pt dp hq should be like' entry.

I agree with a lot of that but the CSM Daemon prince has a few benefits compared to the daemon one.
1.) No Daemonic Instability. This can be a big deal.
2.) Black mace, very nice buff
3.) Ability to get a spell familiar (CD princes are also LD 9 with no such option)
I'm not saying he is way better and he needs other threats (spawn, Mauler fiends, other princes etc.) in the army to be effective, but load him up if you are going to bother, because 275-300 is not that far off 350, and the extra powers help him a bunch. Belakor is a great choice in general over a DP from most CSM builds (I like the CSM prince in ally rolls over leading a CSM army in many cases.
In my Nurgle Daemon army I am looking at sloting in a Black mace Prince because he provides some good answers to hordes, and is pretty good. But he will run 350ish points The nurgle discipline is OK, as the primaris is so so, and The second power is really quite good.

The problem I find is that the black mace is really good but do you need to put a 45 point weapon on a DP? I've always found keeping your DPs in the air as long as possible works the best. That's where CD Tzeentch ones shine, as you can fly around and put out tons of dakka with Flickering Fire.

Gonna have to say that the Chaos Space Marines version of a Kited out DP is pretty trashy. For their point value, you basically get a weaker version of Be'Lakor that costs more. There simply isn't a point of building one.
Chaos Daemons DP however, are bloody terrifying. If you play a game where your opponent brings 5 FMCs you're crying.
Between Flickering Fire, Vector Strikes, rerolls and the potential Grimoire / Troop spawning / Wound absorbing, generally you're in for a world of hurt. I have had far too much fun dropping Nurgle Daemon Princes next to Plague Drones with their Banner, It's pretty scary seeing a Nurgle unit move 12" and then you throw their champion in the mix with a Balesword? =/ Pretty much anything Nurgle that can get one of these, NEEDS to have it.
